Spirit Bonder Vermin Farming
I searched the forum for this, didn't find it, but if it has been posted, then sry in advance, pls don't flame me.
Anyways, I decided to give the spirit bond build a try out on the vermin. Taking more then 8 is an issue with a 55 Monk. So, here is what I came up with to farm them quite effectively. See screen for how effectively.
So, if you can't see the skill bar, its as follows:
Protective Spirit
Spirit Bond
Shield of Judgement
Elemental Resistance
Contemplation of Purity
Retribution
Balthazars Spirit
Blessed Aura
Attribute pts are as follows:
Smiting: 12+3 = 15
Protection: 9+3 = 12
Divine Favor: 9+3 = 12
I use Gardocks Staff (Tyrian Sorrows green divine favor staff) If you want to replicate it (which is great for vermin) it's as follows:
Req9 Divine Favor
Fire Dmg MAX
Halves Skill Recharge of Divine Favor Skills (20% chance)
Reduces Poison Duration on You by 20%
Energy +5
Enchantments Last 20% Longer
Also note:
DON'T wear chest armor or head armor, as most attacks fall there. This will reduce your armor to zero on the most hit areas, and elemental resistance will give u far less armor on the other parts (i wear ascalon 15AL armor pants, shoes, and wrists)
So its just the basic spirit bond build with a twist, and that contemplation. You use it right after the battle, and it rids you of those conditions. Elemental Resistance makes u weak to their attacks, so you get healed often enough to stay alive. WARNING, you may die if you don't time your skill properly, because divine favor from casting sometimes has to save you from the brink. I have died 3x in 5 runs. Practice the timing and be fast on the keyboard, and use SoJ, they will all drop in one barrage of SoJ, and the boss in 2. GL!
